About Us

Finding Inspiration in Every Turn

The RLC provides a range of children and family-focused crisis intervention work, including assessments, community outreach, and child and family contact services. Due to several years’ experience in children and family work, coupled with extensive consultation with practitioners in the field, significant steps have been taken to address the sensitive nature of issues involved in child and family contact work, thereby ensuring that the experience for children and estranged parents is as positive, private, and safe as possible.

Our Story

Most of the services provided within the organisation are delivered in partnership with various department within the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge and Havering Councils, as well as other government agencies such as CAFCASS, National Association of Child Contact Centre (NACCC).

These services range from Early Years Education (a registered nursery and out of school services regulated by OFSTED no. EY390650), Children and Family Support Services, Parent & Toddler group, Meeting rooms (providing our venue free of charge for local small charities and businesses), Food Bank, Music, Creative and Performing Arts right through to a Homeless Persons Care and Support project. All services are open access; some are fee-paying at a highly subsidised rate while others are totally free to the community.
